Democratic candidates received strong support from the Madison County Democratic Committee.

The candidates receiving MCDC designations are:

• Vicki Davis, who is seeking to represent the 121st Assembly District that includes the towns of Brookfield, Eaton, Hamilton, Lebanon, and Madison.
  
  

• Mandi Drake, who is looking to represent the 53rd Senate District that includes all of Madison County.
  
  

• Rev. Dr. Phillip Fleming, who is seeking to represent the 131st Assembly District that includes the towns of DeRuyter, Georgetown, and Nelson.
  
  

• U.S. Rep. John Mannion, who is running for a second term representing the 22nd Congressional District that includes all of Madison County.
  
  

• Ihor Semko, who is looking to represent the 122nd Assembly District that includes the towns of Fenner, Lenox, Lincoln, Smithfield, Stockbridge, and Sullivan, and the city of Oneida.
  
  

• State Rep. Al Stirpe, who represents the 127th Assembly District that includes the town of Cazenovia.
